Since January 2005 Janine Robitaille has served as Executive Director of Interfaith Partnership.  Under her leadership the mission of the shelter has expanded and today offers more services and benefits to more Albany County families and individuals in need than ever before.  Since 2005, the shelter’s operating resources have increased by 30%.  This financial expansion has enabled a significant increase in services to the Albany community’s neediest citizens.  The shelter has increased its emergency shelter from 25 to 30 beds and created close to 25 units of affordable housing for individuals who have experienced homelessness. In addition Janine successfully obtained funding to open the first Drop in Center in Albany County.  This has been a very beneficial program not only to the homeless population but to low income families in our community.  Janine has worked in various leadership and staff positions in the social services field for close to 20 years.  Since 2000 Janine has dedicated her career to specifically advocating for the homeless.

Janine lives in Albany and enjoys tennis, walking her dog Jake, and traveling.
